You can rise above your station

I had the honor of going to Baltimore Maryland on last week for a workshop from the D.O.J. (Dept. of Justice. It was a great workshop with a lot of networking and interacting with others of my profession. By Wednesday I was bored, so being a preacher I found went to church Wednesday night. I was hoping to attend bible class, but God really blessed me in the form of let me hear Dr. Barry C. Black.

Dr. Black it the first Afro-American Chaplin in the history to be the Chaplin of the S.S. Senate. He is also the first Afro-American two star admiral in the navy to serve as the as the chief of navy chaplains. He can preach!!!! He grew up in the project of Baltimore. He has written a very compelling book called, "From the Hood to the Hill." I highly recommend it.

I was truly encouraged by the Word and I have been truly blessed by his book. Just thought I would share that with you all.
